How It Works

Three steps.
One minute. Everyone moves.

1

Pick your goals

Choose from strength, cardio, mobility, jump, speed, balance, flexibility, or breathwork. Set your difficulty and how many alerts you want per day.

2

Your phone buzzes

A push notification drops with a quick exercise — push-ups, a stretch, squat jumps. The same alert fires for everyone in the challenge at the same time.

3

Do it, log it, keep going

Tap Done. See how many people are doing it right now. Build a streak. Over weeks, that 3-minute habit compounds into real results.

Pick any program, name your crew, and get a 6-character invite code. Your group runs the program on its own schedule, separate from the public challenge.

📲

Everyone moves together

Crew members get the same alerts at the same time. See who's completed each workout in real time. Nothing motivates like knowing your group is watching.

🔒

Completely private

Crew programs are invite-only and not visible to the public. Only people with your code can join.

Short bursts aren't a compromise.
They're the strategy.

🧠

Exercise snacking works

Research in Sports Medicine shows that 1–5 minute exercise bouts distributed throughout the day improve blood sugar, blood pressure, cardiovascular fitness, and mood — often as effectively as a single longer session. The key is consistency, not duration.

FAQ

Common questions

Most workout apps require you to carve out 30–60 minutes. KIVA works the opposite way — short exercises come to you throughout your day, at the same time as everyone else. It's less "workout mode" and more "movement woven into your routine." You don't need a gym, a block of free time, or motivation to start a long session.
No. All exercises are bodyweight-only — push-ups, planks, squats, lunges, stretches, breathing drills. You can do them at your desk, in a parking lot, in your kitchen. If an exercise doesn't work for you, you can skip it and it won't appear again.
No problem. Missed alerts don't penalize your streak as long as you complete at least one workout that day. The app is designed around the reality that life is unpredictable — it meets you where you are rather than demanding perfection.
Goal Programs are multi-week journeys toward a specific measurable result — like doing 50 consecutive push-ups, hitting a 5-minute plank, or achieving a full split. You follow a progression that builds week by week. Training Plans are ongoing daily routines in a category (strength, cardio, mobility, etc.) with no fixed endpoint — you just show up and move. Both can be done solo or with a private crew of friends.
A Crew is a private group that runs a program together. You pick any program, name the group, and get a 6-character invite code to share with friends. Everyone in the crew gets the same workout alerts at the same time and can see each other's completions in real time. It's completely private — no one outside your crew can see it.
Yes. During onboarding you answer a few questions about your current fitness level for each category you choose. We match you with beginner exercises and beginner-appropriate programs. As you improve, you can adjust your difficulty in any program's settings.
You set an active window (e.g., 7 AM – 9 PM) and we only send alerts within that window. You also choose how many alerts you want per day — anywhere from 2 (chill) to 10 (beast mode). You can change these settings anytime, or on a per-program basis.
